On July 17, the new energy electric ferry "Shanghai Ferry 11", equipped with two 200kW rim driven thrusters designed and manufactured by Guangzhou HG, set sail from the Lujiazui Pier on the Nanlu Line in Shanghai. It is China's first new energy electric ferry to use rim driven thruster. It is planned to officially begin operation on routes in central Shanghai by the end of this year.
